At Sunshine Piggy Rescue of Florida, we focus on rescuing and rehoming guinea pigs & other small animals in need throughout Central Florida. We are a foster-based rescue, meaning we do not have a facility—all of our guinea pigs are cared for in loving foster homes. This ensures they receive personalized care, socialization, and attention to prepare them for adoption.

Meet Omi & Pumpkin.
Omi and Pumpkin are two senior girls currently in the process of bonding, and we are hopeful they will become a pair ready for adoption together.
Omi was originally part of a sweet trio with Trompi and Yoya, two senior piggies who recently passed. She is a gentle, friendly piggy who enjoys her toys and playtime. Omi is currently in intake quarantine while we complete her health and personality assessments.
Pumpkin came to us as a shelter transfer. She is settling in well and has begun the bonding process with Omi. Once their bond is secure, they will be available for adoption as a pair, ready to bring comfort, companionship, and a lot of love to their new home.
